Read that in my paper this morning before my run, and then amused myself by thinking of Mikey while running (not in a gay way).
Stevie says he'll talk to him in the England training camp. No-one can turn down Stevie. No man, no woman.

I love you. Truly, madly, deeply.

And, I was talking about the Charlton to Chelsea switch. But Dringo's too stupid to understand. It all seems so pointless now anyway, with the Planeteers on board.
Newcastle have a strong midfield. I'll stand by that. They just need a goalscorer.

I don't know if you and Stryke are talking about the same thing(either that or I have made myself look stupid replying to this.) I think he was referring to the time he left Charlton for Chelsea after he had eveything going for him at Charlton and that decision virtually cost him 18 months of his career. Hence he does not deserve better as he stuffed up a good thing at Charlton.

A decision which I bet he regrets oh so much now.

If you insist.

Souness described Parker as "the best professional he'd ever worked with". If he was so comfortable in London, he wouldn't have left.
People change clubs, it happens. Didn't Owen do the same?
Scotty is still class. Let us not speak ill of him again.
> Scott Parker? James Milner? Do they not deserve better?

No. Scott Parker had a good life in London and a team was being built around him. It's his own fault. And Milner's just another Lee Sharpe.

Very overrated, overrated, racist thug, overrated, deserter

What promise? It's a team going backwards that relies on a 35 year old striker and with a manager who sells their best players, some of which fight each other. Not exactly a team going places.

You want to praise Shearer and the best you can find is Les Ferdinand?! Try harder.
Souness is not the best manager in the world granted but their midfield is strong.
Jenas, Dyer, Bowyer, Milner, Parker... 5 top English midfielders... and with Shearer up front. It is not Owen's ideal location but there is a lot of promise in the team to make the risk well worth it.
He'll get the deliver and have a strike partner which Les Ferdinand once described as "the best ever".
Rather see him at Liverpool. I just hope it provokes a more 4-4-2 formation.
Michael Owen deserves better.
So does Shearer and Shay Given, mind. But no-one else.
But yes it always did look like a Liverpool return.
As for Newcastle having a very English Midfield:- Jenas, Bowyer, Dyer, Parker and Milner.
A very English midfield.
