Phil to Everton - I think this is a pretty good signing. £3m is quite a lot, but he is only 28 and has a lot of experience and can only enhance their midfield.

I also like the fact that Solskjaer is coming back and that Owen may come back to Liverpool...maybe...trust me, he will...maybe.

And that's only the midfeild. Add Hulse, Healy and Blake to the mix, as well as the defence and I can almost smell the Premiership.

Oh noes! We've lost Vieira! He was the chief diver according to most of you lot, that means that Arsenal are now severely reduced in diving criticism (and midfield strength :'{.)

The way I see it, Cole has the odd fall-on-face moment, but apart from that it's pretty much only Pires who "slips" from time to time.

If it is, I'm appalled as I was about Man U signing Park. They're equally horrific divers...

Would be nice to see Robinson, Kirkland and Carson in the World Cup squad next year. You know, if they become good enough.

Joking (and goalkeeping eccentricity) aside, Carson's a great prospect for England's future. Though he seems to have taken the whole "immersing himself in Liverpool's history and becoming one with the club thing" too far in attempting to become David James.

Scott thinks many things. He probably believes he is playing first-team football because the Whitbread-pixie told him so.
