It was, the NES was 16 bit.

Lol I found that rather easy when I took a shortcut after the first rolling bit, I walked to the end of the track through the interescting pathway and then picked up where i left off and just rolloed over the last jump to the exit, or to get the extra heart piece went a different way from there, that was easy once i knew about that way.

Yes, it was a generalisation. Not every single individual person who played the N64 would quote OOT as the best game on the platform, but the high majority do- hell, it normally ranks in the top 3 of "Favourite Games of All Time". I think my point stands.

Again, it was a generalisation, but it's still a legendary game, don't you agree?

Yes, the games are called Legend of Zelda because the tales of Link and Zelda are legendary but the games themselves are not. They are classics. In my eyes, something has to be much older to count as legendary.

Maybe, but not 'everyone'. I got bored of it after a while.

Super Mario Kart/Super Mario World.
And I think you meant 16-bit.

You can't deny the fact that it was, in the majority of peoples' eyes, the best game on the platform, no?

Do we really need dictionary quotes?
*sigh*
legendary
1. Of, constituting, based on, or of the nature of a legend.
(Last time I checked, the title was "Legend of Zelda"- ie. it constitutes a legend. :P
2. Extremely well known; famous or renowned.
They are both well known, famous and renowned (they both won awards...)

Balls, I could have sworn the SNES was 32-bit.
Gah.
