"Extras"

Ross Kemp was fantastic. I always thought he'd be the sort to take himself too seriously, but his part in this tonight was excellent. Also, Barry from Eastenders cameo was superb.

Did take a little while to get going, and I reckon the Ross Kemp episode was just as good, but still brilliant and the Catholic scene was hilarious.

But you can't say it's as good as The Office yet - I mean, that was pretty much 14 episodes of perfect comedy.

"I think everyone knows about the Holocaust by now. Yeah, we get it, it was grim. Move on. Schindler's f***ing List - Oscar. Pianist - Oscar."

Yeah the scene when he was talking to his agent it was so funny I loved it, just one of the many great scenes in another excellent episode. You can just watch these again and again.

I'll be preordering the DVD straight away.

That episode was brilliant.

Winslet played a corker, and Gervais was on top form.

The scenes between him and his agent (Merchant) and the bit in the catholic prayer circle were fantastic.

Yeah like you said it was the best episode so far, it's a classic, they seem to get better every episode.

The Office was great too but the comedy writing and the acting just makes it hundred times better than The Office IMO.

Bah, only caught the last ten minutes of tonights, and from what I saw it was quite good.

You've only seen 3 episodes and you're elevating it over The Office already?

That was the best episode ever, I laughed so much lol, I dont know what the TV guide was on about giving it only 3/5 stars

It's already a classic series and the characters are far, far better than any of those in The Office. I think Extras is now my favourite comedy series leaving the likes of Fawlty Towers, The Office and Spaced far behind. This is excellent writing and I can tell it's going to be a massive hit in America.

I hope some people remembered some classic quotes from that episode, I'll catch the repeat definitely.

I pay a licence fee for Extras and Neighbours at the moment. And it'll be effectively a Neighbours subscription fee in 3 weeks. Gay.
