Ross Kemp was fantastic. I always thought he'd be the sort to take himself too seriously, but his part in this tonight was excellent. Also, Barry from Eastenders cameo was superb.

Even without the celebrities it would still be far better than The Office. I'm just saying it was a good call by Ricky and that it's better that he did sell out and get celebrities instead of nobodys to work on Extra as it wouldnt be the same.

So let's write off The Office completely because of the lack of guest stars. Forget the astoundingly superb acting and casting throughout, and meticulous attention to detail in reactions and unspoken expressions. Yeah, sod subtlety, cause we'd trade it all for Gary Coleman to pop in and go "wot you talkin' bout, Brent?".

The Office was sublime, original and groundbreaking across two series and two Christmas specials, and you think Extras is in a different league because we'll be seeing Ben Stiller, Kate Winslet and Sammy L?

Why do you say that? How is The Office any better than Extras? The writing, the characters, the acting, it's all much better than The Office and most other britcoms too.

no Mav it isnt as good as The Office, it is far superior to the Office I think, and I'm sure most people here would agree. Each episode has been pure gold but in The Office there are lots of times when it just isnt funny maybe in The Office there are too many characters and we cant relate to them. It just goes to prove that having celebrities in a comedy can make it far better than people you havent even heard of, like in the office.

Ummmm.... I was somewhat let down by this episode, after the greatness of the first two.
