Anything new since about March/April? I bet there are about 3 updates too.

Are there still any bugs/glitches/annoyances in Halo 2?
Example: the other day on Xbox Live, someone with a bad cough - I plugged in the headset just to ask if he was dying. No reply. Another time someone had a baby crying in the background... The lobby screens are the worst, just 15 other idiots bellowing about how they died. Great.

Urg. Not my cup of tea. I mute all voices in games like CS as high pitched 13year old voices are like fingers down a blackboard to me.
The idea of this constantly in heavily populated ares: -
"NOW IN AH! GLOM REAPER OF THE WHALE"
"LFG GNONEREGAN! LFG GNOMEREGAN!"
Nah, I'd never play it again.
Text only, while limited at times, allows me to filter out the garbage.
Kim, how did the MC run go last night then?

I'd like to see it done, there's plenty of innovations they can steal from Fable and PSO among others in-order to make a decent console version.

I'd assume they'd lower the range for proximity voice in crowded areas.

Hehe, it's painful enough as it is :D

Yeah, best thing I can think if is a series of lights/icons and when someone is speaking in one of the channels the channel's light/icon lights up so you can switch to it and listen to what's being said.
