Apologies for starting so many topics, I'll stop now, honest. I just wanted to make it known how much I LOVE this transfer. Luis Figo is a god, we all know this.

And Carra has signed a new contract.

Ooh-hoo-ha-ha, happy happy happy week (since U-Turn Wednesday) for me so far.

Friday - We sign Nesta
Saturday - We sign Rosicky
Sunday - "It was a joke, we haven't really signed you, get out of Melwood, Zenden!"

Figo's not world class anymore? You saw Euro 2004, right? You do know he was Real's most consistent player 03/04? He fell out with the coach this season and everyone assumes omg!!he's wazz!

We must be getting him, because no way Rafa would let his favourite right winger go otherwise - http://skysports.planetfootball.com/list.asp?hlid=290314&CPID=23&CLID=&lid=2&title=Vigo+start+Nunez+talks&channel=football_home

I know this is a blow, Ant. You'll never see his wizardry down the right flank again. Ah, well. You've still got Harry.

Yup, loved him ever since I first saw him at Elland Road.

Forget the politics, as a player he is a joy to watch, never holds back any effort; as he showed though this works against on occassions. Awesome player though.

That's funny because the last time I checked he wasn't "here" anymore. He wouldn't sign unless Newcastle met his wage demands, now he has no choice but to take a cut because he has to resurrect his playing career.

That why he's taken a 30k pay cut?

hahah, Luis Figo hasn't been world class for years.

His life style may not be the same as Kluivert but like my Dutch friend was he is here for a pay cheque.

I am only crying with tears of joy.
