The "Freeola Customer Forum" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
We want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which
hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is
just to introduce people to new music.

NOTE FROM ASHER - IMPORTANT
If i'm going to be taking control of this for a little while, I expect everyone to take responsibility for their songs and post up a yousendit link or something similar up on the day of their song. I don't have the capabilities to download everything super-quickly like Flock does and put it up, so it's up to you. If you want you're song to get a fair few listeners it's advised that you do this, but if you don't want to then that's fine.
Preferably at least a day in advance so I have time to edit the post each day.
Solid as always, they always seem to take more than a couple of listens before you can get into anything by them though.
De Le Soul - Eye Know
Nice relaxed, summery and whistling "Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay" didn't go unnoticed. Sweet and the sort of thing you might have on in the background of a evening party.
Kanye West - Never Let You Down
He always manages to find a good rythym but i've heard better from him. The distortion on the girls voices might get annoying after a while but it's still better than 99% of similar records around at the moment.
Used to be a highlight when I was actually into the College Dropout. I've listened to that album so many times now that I can't really bear to listen to it anymore, but this is a great track all the same. Not as good as Two Words, mind.
Keep forgetting to come in here and comment. Yesterdays was excellent, off 3ft High and Rising which is one of my bestest albums.
I'll try to upload my track for when it's needed.
It's glorious.
Excellent.
Although the 'colour blind' lyric brings back painful memories of that Darius song. Ouch.
Elliot - Don't mind this actually, sounds lot like the Pumpkins. Goes on a bit, but all in all a good little ditty.
Land and Water
Lipstick Stigmata
Watermark High

Songs on the 18th and 19th, with my amazing psychic powers...they are both great songs.
Like a heavier version of South, all very nice and the second good track of the week.
