Seventeen years after the emotional climax of 1989's Blackadder Goes Forth, Rowan Atkinson and Tony Robinson will reprise their roles as Blackadder and Baldrick.
Writer Richard Curtis told the Daily Express of the show's return: "We'd always said we'd do it, and yes we definitely still want to."
Excellent, finally some good comedy on TV!
His father was a king...
Blackadder, Blackadder,
but only for ten seconds..."
Class.

Genius. If all else fails bring comparisons to Nazis into the arguments. But yep, Blackadder is much funnier than Friends. Whoever says that Blackadder isn't "laugh-out-loud" humour, is simply, wrong. Or has had their mouth gaffer taped over.
Blackadder makes me laugh though.
It's unoffensive, unchallenging TV that'll always assure me a good few laughs and a barrel of chuckles. And the same goes for pretty much every episode for however many millions of years it was running for.
So there.

Loads of viewers doesnt make it a good program. Just means alot of retards watch it.

I just find it laughable that Mav came in the thread and said the first 4 series of Friends were funnier than all of Blackadder. Then he went on to say how clever friends was getting 6 different characters into the same TV show!!!!!!
Friends and Blackadder aren't even in the same league.
