Just going to repeat this as I can't be bothered because this threads descended into General Chat levels of idiocy.
"It's crap"
"Nu-uh"
"Yeah it's crap and so's Red Dwarf"
"Your mum"

You could say same thing about philosophical concepts in general.
Try to manage the stairs next time deary.
Have a nice closed life, go read The Mail or something.

Seriously though, how can anyone dislike Red Dwarf? Pfft.
"Turgid red dwarf nonsense" is referring to Donnie Darko, Red Dwarf is the comparison. The film is turgid nonsense with the depth and emotion of Red Dwarf.
However, that programme does, in fact, lick balls

But the fact he called Red Dwarf "nonsense" completely invalidates any decent opinion he may've had.

The butterfly effect is definately worth a watch, very ambitious and cleverly done.
Overall though i wouldnt recommend it
The girl that recommended me to watch this film also told me to watch the Butterfly effect...is this also rubbish?

No. It requires thought to work out the story.
Shame that there was SOD ALL underneath the story. It was just a convoluted time travel yarn, which never said ANYTHING at all. It could have talked about serious philosophical stuff. But it didn't, it just went 'yeah, work this one out'.

Oh my God, he's got other people pimping his site out now.
Good opinions though, it's a silly film.
