I dunno, against alot of the crap brought out I think it stands pretty weel. And if you like goddamn depressing music, it's unbeatable :)

Mm, I do think that a lot of the ire directed toward it is caused by indier-than-thou spunklollies sneering at anyone who didn't immediately declare the very best thing since the extra-rare Nirvana bootleg with Kurt laughing and making jokes about how Courtenay was gonna fake his murder, which is, like, so brilliant and....
Well, you get what I mean. I 'cking HATE indie kids like that...
"We can't kiss now"
"Why not?"
"There's a fat guy staring at us"
It had some nice touches, like how he has a go at all those people spouting the "love-fear" sloganising bull, esposes that paedo, and that conversation about Smurffette.
And I thought the whole thing with him and the girl was sort of romantic.
Also, I'd not heard all about "how wonderful!!11!1!!!" it is so I guess I managed to just take it for what it was.
> I hated it. But it was a low-budget film so im not surpised.
Apart from a few special effects, there was nothing all that cheap about it.
Sorry and all, but I thought the family dynamic was absolutely spot on. The time travel and suchlike...well, the resolution wasn't my cup of tea. But then, it wasn't my film. If I want something that'll satisfy me 100%, I'll make/write my own. If you go to see a film/read a book then you're enjoying someone else's ride.
