Because his players want to play for him. Simple as that. You see him running out onto the pitch after Barca and hugging JT and Lamps. Drogba, as much I hate him, runs to him after the West Brom goal. Joey Joey Cole attributes his form to him. And I reckon Paulo Ferreira actually lives at Jose's house as his son.

And you compare this to Rafa Benitez. I get bored listening to him. He doesn't explain his stupid subsitutions (You need a win, so obviously the way to do this is to bring off Baros for Nunez) and you hear nothing about the players bond with him. Jamie Carragher chats about playing for Liverpool, not Benitez. That's the difference. I just wish we had someone like Mourinho.

Who cares if he makes a comment about Frisk? It was an unbelievable sending off. Not his fault the majority of Chelsea fans are stupid Londoners.

Sometimes I dream he hadn't turned down Liverpool. I wonder if we would've kept Stevie then, instead of being resigned to him going to Chelsea/Real in the summer and being lumbered with players like Josemi and Nunez.

Going on recent form, giggs is crap - as is RvN, but this season Giggs has been one of united best players and has just been unlucky with injury of late. Look at the game at highbury and his form in december up to the injury against spurs. And united have actually done superb without Van Nistelrooy, the season has actually gone downhill since he returned.

The argument is pretty stupid TBH. Take Henry, Pires, Ljungberg, Cole and Vieira out of Arsenal and they would struggle. Its the same with all the top teams!

Anyhoo...

Liverpool actually have an exceptionally good squad. Better, in a lot of places than United. I'd rather have Baros and Cisse (keep Morientes - we have Nistles) than Smith, Saha and Bellion. And the United midfield? What bllcks. Fortune? Give me a break... I mean, sure, he picks up the ball from the defence and feeds a decent Route 1 ball every now and again, but even so... And I think Keane is so over-rated. Give me any of Stryke's Liverpool midfield and Keane would be back to Ireland in an instant.

As for defensively, United are much better, and we do have Rooney, Ronaldo and Nistleroy. But without our five main players, United are nothing... Lacking Ferdinand, Heinze, Ronaldo, Rooney and Nistleroy, we would struggle to stick in the top half, let alone the top three... I mean, no disrespect to Giggsy, but he's hardly on top of his game.

(Howard
G. Neville - Brown - Silvestre - O'Shea
Fletcher - Keane - Fortune - Giggs
Smith - Saha )

Anyway.

Mourinho could replace Fergie any day and that would be fine with me. Sure, he was good for a while, but since his tiff with Becks, we've finished what? Third and (second)?

Yes, because the amount of goals you score obviously relates directly to the style of play. If you have some decent attacking players you'll score a few against the bottom teams. It doesn't mean you aren't employing a defensive strategy.

Out for season is the current rumour. Doesn't really matter with Joey on such good form.

Oh I'm not saying Chelsea is better without Robben, of course they're not. I'm saying that when Robben wasn't playing Mourinho changed his tactics to a more defensive way. Plus if Chelsea didn't have Robben then he would of probably bought someone in January.

Well he's still young for a manager and it looks like he's going to add the premiership to his achievements. If he carries on at this rate then it won't take long for him to beat Capello, in your eyes anyway :)

Oh come on. They're ridiculously underfunded compared to the rest of the major European past winners. The reason he was able to do what he did was a surprisingly good crop of players who didn't have great reputations at the time (Paulo Ferreira, Carvalho, Deco, Derlei and The Mighty Maniche) combined with quality veterans like Jorge Costa and Vitor Baia. Still, obviously, a great achievement.
