But it seems good. At first the combat seemed a bit crappy, just a shallow PSO-type system, but now it's starting to get good. Only played it for half an hour, but I can see it getting very good in a few hours (of play, not just time).
Oh, and It's published by Nintendo. Something I didn't know. And it's got two discs.
Now, how in gods name am I going to get the time to play this, Metroid Prime 2, Paper Mario 2, Halo 2 and still leave my social life intact?
Sheet.

Hmm normal mode seems to be varied some bosses easy some hard.. I guess the different difficulty modes gives it more replay value compared to most RPG's.

Better, Mania Mode. You can unlock it on completing one game.
At that point in the game I mostly didn't include Colette in my party, but trained her up as well coz she is always needed for boss fights during this part of the game.
As soon as Raine learns the attack Ray you can do Unison Attack! combos with raine and Genis, it's not anything hard to do, it's just to know which 2 attacks you can do combos with and which ones you can't. But the one combo I know quite well is a Wind spell like Cyclone from Genis and Ray from Raine will give a very nice combo attack doing quite a lot of extra damage after all the single attacks have played out during Unison.
Also worked out U. Attacks, which is nice.

Don't be, it's funny though that you thought that.
When you press the z-button for the unison, the party leader will flash and perform a simple swipe. The unison attack will only start if this swipe hits an enemy (and they don't block). As soon as this happens, you will have about 1 second to input your first command and you'll get about an additional second after that for the next command and so on. When the unison attack begins, a button interface will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Each character in the party is assigned a button. Pressing their button in conjuction with a control stick direction will have them perform the tech move assigned to that button and stick combination. If you want to change the tech assignments, you can do so in the U. Attack screen, either in the menu screen or in the battle options screen. Each character can only attack once during a unison attack, but they don't have to. Techs performed during a unison attack do not require mana.
All my team are T as well, except Genis.
