It's a lot like the first game really. It starts out well but about half way through I loose the will to play and it just gets tedious.
I can't even bring myself to complete the game as it's just so sodding dull. The first bunch of levels were cool but it's all the freaking same after a while. I swear if I have to face another level of shooting crappy enemies in insanely dull enviroments then I'm gonna rip my eyes out and feed them to my goldfish.
It's just rubbish!
Online though it plays like a dream...an extremely nerdy dream, but a dream all the same.

He's just too picky and won't play till the bugs are fixed :P

Just the first 2 hours? What about after?
Oh, the music in Halo 2 was great, especially the start of Delta Halo. The chirpy music was class indeed.
I haven't got Half Life 2 to play yet, I keep getting memory errors so I can't really compare.

Nope, the game isn't all that until the Gravity Gun.
OOoo yes.
Halo 2 multiplayer is just genius still.
I didn't experience a single bug except for the audio stuttering thing. I thought I got stuck in some crates/rubble once, but I got out of it.

Heh, did you hear about the reviews? They were all done at Valve HQ on a machine that the game had been working on all along so that is why all the major reviews do nothing but sing its praises.
Even with the audio stutter (patch due tomorrow by the way) I still found the first 2 hours leagues ahead of Halo 2.
And most of the levels that are cool just end up going on for too long and get boring. And the flood, yet again, screw it all up.
But the music is classy. And some of the cutscenes are excellent. As are a few of the levels.
Still can't believe there's only one level on earth though. All that hype about 'Earth Will Never Be The Same', what a load of crap.
On a different note, Half-Life 2 is excellent, way better than Halo 2's single player. And before anyone complains, they can easily be compared.
That is all.
*Yawn*
I was bored within the first 30 minutes, it is absolutely crap in comparison to Half-life 2, unbelievably dull.
