It's a lot like the first game really. It starts out well but about half way through I loose the will to play and it just gets tedious.
I can't even bring myself to complete the game as it's just so sodding dull. The first bunch of levels were cool but it's all the freaking same after a while. I swear if I have to face another level of shooting crappy enemies in insanely dull enviroments then I'm gonna rip my eyes out and feed them to my goldfish.
It's just rubbish!
Online though it plays like a dream...an extremely nerdy dream, but a dream all the same.

So much so, I'll change my name.
But still, HL2 is easily better than H2 sinlge player.
Doesn't mean H2 co-op and multi aren't the two coolest things since MP.
Rest is genius.
Ravenholm is gory brilliance. Easily better than H2 single player!
I really liked the inro (> Halo 2)...but as soon as I was in the canals, I was bored.
Right up until the end of the Airboat section. Seriously, I'm not joking, I was sitting there, my head resting on my hand, just hitting WASD until I got somewhere.
+ GG and some better levels, and of course, it's way better.

The first five minutes of Hl2 was better than anything Halo 2 gave me.
I still cannae stop playing Halo 2 in co-op and on Live.
