:D
I have about a limited wannabe's knowledge of guitars, like I know what guitar I've got and that it's a strat and stuff but; what the hell are these things/what do they do:
Pick-up
Redresss the frets
Grub screws
Tone Pot
Also, anyone know any places on the web that tell you how to play?
Ican struggle my way through tabs but that's about it. No money can be expended by the way.
:)

My next guitar will either be the Ibanez RG370, or more likely a Jackson DKMG. ESP also do a few that have decent locking trems on them.
the 2 "mid" postions that use 2 pickups create a slightly out of sync humbucker effect. slightly less twangy, but not as "round" as a traditional humbucker tone.
.. hope that made sense. well, even if it didn't, i'm right :D
right, the town beckons!!.. fare thee well funsters!
merry strumming! :)
They sound rubbish on mine.
Think it goes from top to bottom:
Neck
Neck/Middle
Middle
Middle/Bridge
Bridge

Yeah, I did, but thing is, it's got 5 settings, but I only have 3 pickups.
Do some of the settings use two pickups?
It all makes sense now.
You should be able to guess that from the 'selector' bit.
Hmmmm.
I know when it's down it gives a fuller note, and it's got 5 different settings.
It's down by the tones.
I think it moves one of the pickups up and down, so that it's closer/farther from the strings, but I don't really know, and I don't have a clue what its name is.

it's a bar that comes out the bottom.
