:D
I have about a limited wannabe's knowledge of guitars, like I know what guitar I've got and that it's a strat and stuff but; what the hell are these things/what do they do:
Pick-up
Redresss the frets
Grub screws
Tone Pot
Also, anyone know any places on the web that tell you how to play?
Ican struggle my way through tabs but that's about it. No money can be expended by the way.
:)

I'm currently Grade 8 piano, and ive been playing guitar for the last....3 years? Maybe a bit longer. It's easier to pick up when u hav previous musical knowledge/experience, i can play a couple of pieces that i know are definitely above grade 8 standard. Mainly playing shred metal at the moment. Oh, and i got a bass for christmas so im trying to play that aswell, but playing along to master of puppets makes me realise how much i love playing lead!!!

I've played the drums (grade 4)...
...aswell as piano (3), keyboard (4), recorder (2), now guitar...
EDIT: I would point out though, that I practised not one jot, nor am I musically gifted. Or maybe with the guitar...

Les PAuls don't come with Floyd Roses at all.
i saw a LP shaped guitar with a floyd come out of hte hohner custom shop once, but it was dump.
i wouldent have enough room in my, well, room, let alone ne where else in the house. same for when i go to uni.
The drums.
I always avoided them because I was worried that it'd make playing turn into something I felt I had to do instead of something I did for the fun of it.
Oh and I've got no money.
I can't be bothered to tab it, so you'll have to read it as I've written it down. (A number next to a letter represents the fret pressure on that string)
D2 G B G B D2 G B G | A3 D G D G A3 D G D | E3 A2 D A2 D E3 A2 D A2 D
Either loop this over and over again,
or end E3
I was playing on a really badly tuned acoustic, so if it's bad, I blame the guitar.
Simple, but like I say, a nice intro/outro.
I've been looking for a guitar with mahogony neck and body, two humbuckers (EMGs) and a Floyd Rose trem, but such an axe doesnt seem to exist. Basically just a les paul with EMGs and the floyd rose, maybe an ESP? Anyone know of a similar guitar?
