Got some facts for you.
Defoe - 1405 minutes, 9 goals, 1 assist
Baros - 932 minutes, 8 goals, 1 asisst ( he also outscored Defoe, and everyone else, in Euro 2004. But don't let me sway you..)

"And it's Michael Owen AGAIN, the defence are just sitting down, the goal-keepers shot himself, every signle fan is cheering for him, can he make it....And that's goal number 15!!!! Every seen anything like this before?"
"Oh, yes, Jermain Defoe has been banging in 20 a match for West Ham."

Baros. Without ANY doubt in ANYONE's mind.
"If we're honest here, Defoe is quite clearly better than Baros. No question"

...but to add on to Baros' International goal-scoring record;
Baros - Played 34, Scored 21
Defoe - Played 6, Scored 1.
Now, admittedly, Defoe has only more-or-less just started his International career, but so has Baros. And he rocks.
Deary deary me, Lil Bro.
Deary me.
