Hello again folks.

Just thought we could have a nice cosy little vote on the best short story from all the SSC entries so far this year.

Yes, it does include anything up until 31st December, but you can vote now if you want. And, no, you can't vote for one of your own stories.

Now, I thought this would be a good little addition to the usual Short Story Comp because everyone can have a vote on this one instead of just the person who won the last one. It might bring up a few surprises (or Meka might win ;-) ).

How about it?

Oh, and someone else can tally up the votes on 31st December, as I may not be able to get online until later in Jan.

I think I know which of mine will win...

Is there an overall winner too?

When SSC15 is over, we'll all vote for the best story from each writer.

That's my understanding of it anyway.

Really we should wait until the end of the next SSC. Although only because I have a good story in the making. :D

I didn't think it was. Some of them I remembered as soon as I clicked into them to get the thread details. Some of them are clear favourites and easy to pick.

It's nice to know others appreciate the work especially as the comment was originally aimed at pb :)

I don't know that we need links to the stories outside of this forum really. If anyone was that interested in having them all together for easy access I could just put them in their own thread and add to them at the end of every comp.

If enough people were interested in this then maybe, just maybe, if we are nice to a staffie they might make the topic a sticky one :)

Tell you what, Sleepy, for all that uber-searchnessing (it is greatly appreciated!), I'll make a web page with links to every SSC story ever written on and stick it on Geocities or something.

That way it'll stay up to date and we won't have to backtrack into this thread all the time.

Sound good?
