Hello again folks.

Just thought we could have a nice cosy little vote on the best short story from all the SSC entries so far this year.

Yes, it does include anything up until 31st December, but you can vote now if you want. And, no, you can't vote for one of your own stories.

Now, I thought this would be a good little addition to the usual Short Story Comp because everyone can have a vote on this one instead of just the person who won the last one. It might bring up a few surprises (or Meka might win ;-) ).

How about it?

Oh, and someone else can tally up the votes on 31st December, as I may not be able to get online until later in Jan.

Also, you should probably disregard your own stories.

Although choosing the 'best' from one particular 'writer' (who'll remain nameless) and which of the various entries he posts is the official one could prove probmatic :)

I'd agree with that way. I'll update the list I posted to include SSC16

I wouldn't know which of mine to choose. There are several of my own that I wouldn't dream of picking but I have done a couple that I quite like and would hate to just pick one.

This is probably the best idea. But by now no-one seems to care.

Edit the topic with the list so we can vote, or create a new one or something.

Can't the authors decide out of their entries which one they believe is their best and then submit it to a short list that we can then use to vote for the best? So one entry per author or something.

Well...

Has anyone got a good way we can create the shortlist?

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Just a quick note to say thanks for a very good service ... in fact excellent service..
