I personnaly think it's quite good. Certainly helps shake off the childish image, anyway. Not sure about it being purple though.

What i said was, that in the context you could say Laughing Out Loud, and the thre letters would be the same. L O L.

The dcontext should be able to tell you if its Laugh or Laughing,

Surel you should still be able to put LOL, it just means laughing out loud. The initial letters of the words are the same.

People can tell from the context whether you mean Laugh or Laughing.
