Thoughts?
I personnaly think it's quite good. Certainly helps shake off the childish image, anyway. Not sure about it being purple though.
Like the G C bit. :0)

They have contined doing the 3D style of the logo, and the G and C bit looks great. It is also in the shape of a “cube”.
You can tell just how much thought has gone into creating this logo. Another job well done from Nintendo.
Marks out of 10 for it. 8 at the moment. It will start to grow on me even more though.
They should have the 'Nintendo' in normal Nintendo writing with no Red Ring thingy and the Gamecube in the 'Advanced' Font.
That one really sucks....if they but that, I'll take tyhe logo of My '64 and stick it one...one?! On, sorry, my Gamecube...stupid, Mature Nintendo.....they'll mess everything up!

Following the launch of Nintendo's latest console, the Gamcube, thousands of gamers have been admitted to hospital with eyesight disorders. The alleged cause of the problem is the console's logo. Looking very much like an Esheresque interpretation of a cube, the offending icon draws the attention of the gamer, and the strain on the eye caused by attempting to analyse the picture frequently leads to optical disorders.
Nintendo's president, Hiroshi Yamauchi, said that "We were unaware of the problem. No recall has yet been planned. Currently, we suggest masking tape is used to cover up the icon."
When asked about any link between this and the epilepsy-triggering pokémon cartoon screened a few years ago, Yamauchi refused to comment. Could it be that Nintendo are trying to blind the young male population? More will be reported as it happens.
