Aside from the frame freeze issue it runs like a dream on top settings. I would imagine that they are right with the fact it will run on lower spec PC's considerably well.
I thought my Ram was alright? Bah, stupid PC.
Give it a bash though, I was quite surprised when I owned a 5200FX how far it would stretch when I knocked the settings down.
The RAM may be an issue though.

The main thing is, Half-Life 2 has more than made up for it.

Haven't played Source yet. UT2004 wasn't all that. It was good, but it was....can't desribe it - I simply prefer playing online on my Xbox than on a PC. Halo 2 is the first game for aaages to keep me playing constantly (online anyway).
ANYWAY, Half Life 2 is downloading. Only a few hours until I can play a really bad looking version of the game.
