Well there already seems to be quite a few Half-Life 2 threads cluttering up the PC Forum and I have no idea how many more will be made after the game gets released. So, I made this thread which can be used to talk about everything that is Half-Life 2 related and I hope you will all use it instead of making a thread for every problem/query you have.
So if you have any questions, links, general info about the game or you need help after its release tommorow, please use this thread :)

alastair is right you can not be bitter because he can afford to keep he's pc upgraded. I had this sort of thing happen with some of my friends when I was earning very good money and working my butt off for it, I decided to get myself a new homecinema and ended up spending about £2000 over a couple of months. My friends then went all funny on me! Its not my fault that they didnt have jobs or had pants jobs, I was working 14+ hours a day sometimes and earnt that cinema. still winds me up a bit even now!

Of course you know better though, lets scrap bench tests showing off better hardware.

Seems to be a regular argument with those who can't afford to upgrade.

Climb up the ladders, go through to the other room, swim through that big pipe (or atleast as far as I can remember).

So, er... I'm stuck in a room. I turned a thingy, filling the room with yet more water, but there's still no obvious way to get out. Anyone know what I'm on about? I've been messing around for ages trying to figure a way out.

One question about the game... does it support control pads?

Eh? I think you will find I have said it looks like it will run on lower spec machines well.

Oh and I would love to know how you achieve playable frame rates with absolutely everything on top whack. Oh wait, you can't.

Aha, Cyclone, don't listen to Alistair and his entirely unnesessary expense on PC components. You have better specs than me, and I'm playing the game on full settings with no real slowdown at all.

The min requirements are 1.2Ghz and 256MB RAM, and trust me, you really can play the game on that.

Yep, thats the issue I am having and it is a bug they are supposedly fixing at the moment.
