Halo 2 single player kills the feel and it plays average. Since Halo I have played through System Shock 2 again, Far Cry, The Chronicles of Riddick, Call of Duty and Call of Duty: United Offensive.
Halo 2 single player pales in comparison to all of the above.
Only Far Cry might have changed your opinions of games since then, and that wasn't as much of a game as HL2 is....
The single player is just so... average.
Annoyance. I bet when I leave my PC on for the main game D/L it'll fail about 15 minutes after I leave...

As Public Enemy once said "Don't believe the hype". :)
However, with HL2 it's justified. THE best game I have ever played in my 25 odd years gaming. It's a sledgehammer of cool between the eyeballs.
Can't really understand how they missed it after so long.
That aside, it is amazing.
I took a load of sceenshots of interesting places in my journey so far so I can show some friends at school today.
