Well there already seems to be quite a few Half-Life 2 threads cluttering up the PC Forum and I have no idea how many more will be made after the game gets released. So, I made this thread which can be used to talk about everything that is Half-Life 2 related and I hope you will all use it instead of making a thread for every problem/query you have.
So if you have any questions, links, general info about the game or you need help after its release tommorow, please use this thread :)

Well my CPU is 3GHz, RAM the same and with a 5200FX (shoot me), it runs rather well on a mix between medium and low settings.

And i'm up to the bit where you get the bugs to run around for you. Brilliant fun. The way this game keeps giving you something new to do every 5 minutes is brilliant.

Hmmm seems there are audio stuttering problems over here: http://www.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?s=8e5f130bd428abac415c839d606b1366&threadid=176237&perpage=15&pagenumber=1

One came round the corner and I thought 'oh well', then my screen goes white, get a high pitched feedback-y noise out of my headphones and when I finally get a picture back on my screen it's sort of wobbling all over, just in time for me to see myself get blasted to pieces by 3 cts. I was just expecting a bit of short blindness...

Shooting barrels is great fun though. A guy ran behind one and I thought 'Aha, I have you now', so I let a burst out in the direction of the barrel just expecting it to go straight through and kill him like back in the original CS.
Anyway, the barrel rolls out of the way and by this time I've got a fair bit of recoil going on and bullets are going everywhere but where I want them to, and he just lets a burst out in the direction of my head and boof. All good fun though.

I play CS: Source on a regular basis, absolutely fantastic game. Like you say, the flashbangs are a real f**ker to deal with now but they some how don't feel over powering. They take skill to use properly/effectively but when they do they are probably the most dangerous weapon in the game, providing you have ammo of course ;)

Oh man, just played CS: Source. Had it running on 1024*768 fps averaging about 40ish so no complaints there.
Those flashbangs are evil things now.

I'm running a P4 2.6, 512 DDR, Radeon 9600TX.

It runs on Med-High at 1024x with the odd dip when a gazillion things happen at once.

Technically, the game is genius.

I've yet to find a flaw. If I reviewed it now, my only gripe would be that because the cut-scenes are manual, you don't cotton on to the story, you throw books at your friends and steal their clocks with a Grav-Gun.

Okay, the clock thing was a lie. But the books must hurt.

Haha.

Don't you mean some of the "work very hard" features? We're not all teenagers you know. ;) ;) ;) ;)

WEll I've been running it on this system: Athlon XP2600+, 512mb RAM and a GeForce 4 Ti 4800Se. I don't know how that compares to a 9200, but it runs OKish on 800*600 with the mid-high options selected.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
