Well my CPU is 3GHz, RAM the same and with a 5200FX (shoot me), it runs rather well on a mix between medium and low settings.
And i'm up to the bit where you get the bugs to run around for you. Brilliant fun. The way this game keeps giving you something new to do every 5 minutes is brilliant.
I wondered what it was..
Shooting barrels is great fun though. A guy ran behind one and I thought 'Aha, I have you now', so I let a burst out in the direction of the barrel just expecting it to go straight through and kill him like back in the original CS.
Anyway, the barrel rolls out of the way and by this time I've got a fair bit of recoil going on and bullets are going everywhere but where I want them to, and he just lets a burst out in the direction of my head and boof. All good fun though.
Those flashbangs are evil things now.
It runs on Med-High at 1024x with the odd dip when a gazillion things happen at once.
Technically, the game is genius.
I've yet to find a flaw. If I reviewed it now, my only gripe would be that because the cut-scenes are manual, you don't cotton on to the story, you throw books at your friends and steal their clocks with a Grav-Gun.
Okay, the clock thing was a lie. But the books must hurt.
Haha.
I'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Gimme money.

Don't you mean some of the "work very hard" features? We're not all teenagers you know. ;) ;) ;) ;)
