I realise that some people on this forum (including myself) are planning to go to university next year, and I figured it'd be nice to see who was going and how far they have got with their UCAS application.

I received my confirmation letter from UCAS the other day to say they have received my application, all I can do now is wait..

The university's/courses I have applied for are

University of Lincoln: Games Computing
University of Lincoln: Computing
Sheffield Hallam: Software Development (Games) - Offer - not for this course, however
Northumbira University: Computer Games Software Engineering - Offer
Nottingham Trent University: Computer Science (Games Technology) - Offer

I have received 3 offers so far.

What universitys have you applied for? Had any offers/Rejections yet?

Last year i applied to

Kent
Leicester
Essex
De Montfort
Roehampton
Luton

I got offers to all of them and when it came to last summer i decided to go to neither of them now i'm at Brighton which is a wicked Uni.

None of my tutors at college liked me, so i don't think i had high predicted grades or a good reference and i still got offers, so don't worry about getting offers. A lot of the time they give you a place if they got some left depending on whether you have a good personal statment.

My PS said how much i wanted to do Criminology (i applied all to criminology) so i think thats why i got the places.

I didn't get asked for I.D in my Fresher's Week, it was great.

I went to a different Uni for it as well. Strathclyde's is better anyway.

No, I was young in my year.

Most of my friends were 18 or nearly were.

Uni is kinda useless.

However, I enjoy learning my courses and have improved on a number of key skills for later life.

Plus, who wants to work full time from leaving school to retirement?
I only started Uni at 17 for goodness sake.
