I received my confirmation letter from UCAS the other day to say they have received my application, all I can do now is wait..

If we did that then there would be a group of degrees that would be out of reach for the lower classes. This country is trying to move away from that way of thinking. I dont think I have to pay tuition fees at all cos my mother earns almost nothing. She has a degree in maths and one in physics and shes doing one in philosophy through the open university, and she cant get any work. its retarted. anyway the plus side is I dont have to pay tuition fees. heh. The fees are usually based on what type of course it is and are usually more for science courses cos they include the cost of using university equiptment. At bath I use a workstation with a pc, oscilloscope, function generator, power supply, digital multimeter, aswell as bits an pieces, like wires, breadboards, resistors, logic tutor boards etc. Also we get acess to cool software like matlab and orcad and...uhhhh...theres gonna be some java and c and it all adds up.
