It's Mr Pants = mmmm mediocracy
It's been, what, four years since they released a game worth playing?

I really liked Rayman 2 on the N64. It was badly under rated.

These don't look like Rare titles to me.
and 2 titles? Hardly churning them out as much as Rare did are they? So 2 adult titles going up to 4 in the future? Is it any wonder many choose more balanced consoles?

?
Perhaps Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime...
Resident Evil 4 and Geist in the coming future.

If they were building the motion cature studio and not offices then I can understand why Rare were p!ssed they were late.
If you give a big company a date of completion, you finish by that date by hiring more people and mkaing sure you have yourself covered. If you miss the date of completion that's your fault, and you should have taken out insurance to cover the inevitability.
Perfect Dark, Goldeneye and Banjo were the talk of Nintendo's software line up. The most anticipated games at E3.
I don't see the X-box forum getting too excited about Grabbed by the Gholies. Whilst the software due this year, Conker and Kameo, are hardly gonna do the same sorta thing as the software they released last generation.
Ubi-Soft were around before yes, I'm not stupid. But if you're trying to tell me Rayman and and Tonic Trouble were talks of the town last generation, well sorry you are wrong. Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell and Rainbow six has pushed Ubi-soft's popularity skyward.
Namco last generation were Gods, GODS! Ridge Racer was the best racing game ever, Tekken was loved by everyone and even point blank was snapped up faster than any Rockstar game. Nowadays? Sure they're still great, still selling well, still doing fantastic. But not as legendary as they were last generation. Mainly due to their alliance with Nintendo I feel.
Rockstar? Well yes, GTA was popular on the PSone but not nearly to the same degree as GTA. Body Harvest and Silicon Valley sold through the roof did they? A good developer yes. But these days Rockstar print money.
Konami have suffered this generation. Metal Gear is in free fall, Zone of the Enders is dissapointing, Dance Dance Revolution isn't as popular as the last generation. Only Pro-Evo have kept them going.
SEGA weren't even around last generation so they cannot be compared.
Acclaim is a great example. One of the worlds greatest third parties last generation. This time around they're not even about.
THQ as well, doing solidly but the success they acchieved during the last generation (thanks mainly to the mega popularity of WWF) has dwindled a lot.
EA have exploded even further this generation.

They were around a lot longer before the "new generation".
Whilst the giants of the last generation, Konami, Namco and

They're still giants, and very much active. Damn your crap spouting.
