Well I can see that he's a young player that can only get better, also with Giggs and co providing the final ball then hopefully he's likely to score more goals a season.

Still though I would have much rather seen Ronaldinho signed when man utd had the chance, he's definately not a world class striker worthy of such a high price tag.

Also, Man Utd are still poo Chetty.

He's scored just over 10 goals in past Premiership seasons, and before he even starts this season he's been bought for nigh on £30mil (when you consider agents fees and possible fees) and deemed the best young English talent for the last 30 years.

Sure, he had a great Euro 04, but Baros had a great Euro 04 and is he being shipped off somewhere for over £20mil? No, because he's not worth it, and neither is Rooney.

and will apparantly rise to around 30 million, not to mention sell on clauses (which would be interesting to see how much they get for him)

I can't believe some podgy pie eater who merely scored goals against Switzerland and Croatia is being sold to Manchester United for £25 million pounds.
