It's excellent, like a live version of Auntie's Sporting Bloomers. So far 'Great' Britain has managed to lose nearly every event, except for the badminton, and after 4 years of training, came second in the bombing competition. Then one of our most prized athletes jumped in a swimming pool and hit a camera (wtf!?), and proceeded to sob live on television, to millions of people, about how she's wasted 4 years of her life. *slow claps* you spend your life training for this one day, then crap your legs up. Better than that was the bike-riding-lady who rode into a wall. It's like there's been a huge mix-up and we sent our Special Olympics team in for the real thing.

The women's volleyball was pretty good though...

So did Big Nath and the Emms win? I went out for a bit. They're from my nearest city, y'know. Big up Milton Keynes.

It seems a shame that the horse racing is over now.

The whole point of this olympics is that it's going back to our heritage, Athens and all that. That's why the horse.. stuff was so good, the Cornwall-owners like Baron Toff-Pitt got to have all the fun, while us working classes came out of the mills and mines occassionally to look at what we could have been with the right breeding.

It just seems wrong for the commoners to be able to be successful :^(

Best Excuse By A Commentator For A British Swimmer Not Doing Well:

"His googles have snapped"

Disaster, he might accidentally crash into the wall and die a horrible horrible death now.

Weightlifting is an unfortuanate sport for some.

If you take a look at some Rotten.com archives you will find that one man was ready to lift his weights, getting the "Squatting" posture ready, lifted to about half way up, then unfortuanatly his rectum gave way and his ass exploded. I.e, his bowel and god knows what else made it's way outside.

He had to remain in the squatting position, with his exploded rear, until the ambulance could attend to him
