We got 3 people then? If we have, I'll be more than happy to.

The Australia V Japan game was great. Japan's goal shouldn't have stood because the keeper got pushed out of the way. Australia were playing well before then but played even better after they went behind.

Once Australia got level, they looked certain to go on and win it, although Japan should have had a penalty. Cahill's 2nd was a great strike and Aloisi took his goal well.

The Czech Republic were far too strong for the USA team. As the commentators mentioned, USA need a creative player because they looked flummoxed at times. Italy V Czech Republic will be a good game.

Speaking of Italy, Ghana put up a fight against them and it was a really good flowing game, although there was a lot of overacting. Italy probably just deserved to win it. Ghana will be fairly pleased with how they played. They created some really good chances and should have scored.

3 really good games today. Brazil and France up tomorrow and then my pick, Spain (the team I pick every time a World Cup comes around and I regret it every time), on Wednesday.

I'm supporting the Czech Republic just to be different really, they just beat the USA 3-0 too. :)

The g/f's going for Brazil and me mum's being boring and going for some team called ingalond or something like that. ;)

Well, Lampard had a few tries. Gerrard was being used as a more defensive midfielder. He didn't wander forward that often and any shot he had was from a difficult range.

In knowing this I would have liked to see Gerrard and Lampard shooting from long distance like they do at club football.

The heat is really playing a part in the 2pm games. Holland were flying yesterday in the first half. Robben in particular was playing the best I've seen him play. I haven't seem him play that much though. :)

The 2nd half was totally different. The games are really falling a bit flat particularly the teams in the lead. Still, Holland won and I don't think they'll mind too much, considering the group they are in.

Mexico V Iran was probably just in Mexico's favour in the balance of play and the 1-1 deadlock was broken by a couple of silly mistakes by Iran. The 3rd Mexican goal was a lovely move.

Angola V Portugal was pretty disappointing. Portugal pretty much dominated and probably should have had 4 or 5. Angola had a couple of good chances but they seemed a bit shaky at the back and didn't seem to want to throw a lot of people forward. Again, Portugal did the job so I doubt there will be too much complaining.

Well, it was fair to say that England started great and faded away as the game went on. Subbing Owen off killed the game as England created nothing after that. Still, they picked up the win.

The Trinidad and Tobago V Sweden game was great. Sweden could have had 50 balls on the pitch and still not scored against Shaka Hislop. He was brilliant today and funnily enough, he wasn't first choice.

After the sending off, T&T were never going to threaten but they were surprisingly solid at the back. It's a good result for England as a win against T&T will be enough to send England through. It will be an interesting game Thursday.

Argentina V Ivory Coast was a real attacking, flowing game. A few dives and rolling around theatrically, but it was entertaining. The juggling on the line by the Ivory Coast keeper probably should have been a goal.

Argentina looked pretty incisive and passed the ball well. Ivory Coast never gave up to their credit but were probably a pass or two short in key areas and that was probably the difference.

Group C is a really tough group.

Yeah, the ball just seems to be floating and moving. Hit it with a bit of curve and it's going to fly.

Big problems for keepers but should see some screamers.
