Well Kawada, I wouldn't say it was worrying because Brazil will probably go on to win it (although I picked Spain). It's probably worrying for every other team though. :)

Spain pretty much walked over the Ukraine. Shevchenko never really got going and Spain looked slick. A kind deflection gave them a 2-0 lead and the penalty was a soft decision but the 4th goal was lovely.

Tunisia V Saudi Arabia really picked up in the 2nd half. Tunisia scored a well taken goal and looked in control. Saudi Arabia came out for the 2nd half with much more fight and took a couple of well taken goals. Saudi Arabia switched off and gifted Tunisia a point because they should never have left Jaidi free and the cross shouldn't have been allowed to have come in.

Germany V Poland was pretty open stuff. The first was half was pretty even. The 2nd half was all Germany when the player got sent off for Poland. Germany had so many great chances and the keeper made some great saves. Germany hit the bar twice and should have scored one of them. I thought Germany weren't going to score and Neuville was getting offside a lot but it was a well taken goal. Poland are pretty much out now, unless Costa Rica win tomorrow.

Does it worry anyone else that Brazil played like they were out in the park and never broke a sweat yet looked completely comfortable against Croatia who are by no means a pushover of a team?

However that fat lazy Ronaldo has to go, if he's still in the starting line-up against the Aussies i'll be extremely surprised.

Yeah, they don't like defending but they did enough and coped fairly well.

We didn't see the best Brazil as they pretty much strolled around. A better strikeforce would have made them pay.

I'm really looking forward to Australia V Brazil. Should be a cracker.

Yes but they dont like defending. I mean Cafu and Carlos get forward at any oppertunity. I think that is there weakness. I can see other teams scoring against them. Croatia were unluck in that the shots they had were straight at Dida.

I thought the Brazilians did what they usually, all out attack. When they were defending corners they left 2 sometimes 3 people up just waiting for the counter attack. Personally I love to watch them as well because they very rarely are defensive. But Ronaldo look totally out of shape and uninterested. They should have started with Robinio who looked a lot more lively that Ronaldo. Kaka's goal was also quality, although the goal keeper gave him plenty to aim at.

Not a particularly good day of games today.

South Korea V Togo took a while to get going. Togo took a surprise lead with a lovely finish but the sending off in the 2nd half finished them off, probably the heat having a bearing. South Korea probably just about deserved to win the game as Togo never really had the attacking nature when the scores were level or when they went behind.

France V Switzerland was terrible. France were so negative with no real urgency. Trezeguet didn't start or come off the bench, Henry was kept quiet and a defensive looking midfield didn't help. I was very surprised to find out that Giuly didn't even make the squad.

Anyway, Switzerland had the best chances. They hit the post and had a free header (that bounced off his cheek). The handball by Frei in the last minute was so stupid. If he had just went for the ball and not handballed it, the player behind him, Djourou I think, would have had a simple header to win it.

Brazil were very nonchalant, almost saying that they could turn it on if they wanted to because they are the best here. They didn't really look too bothered by Croatia's very quick attacks, particularly in the 2nd half. Ronaldo was so lazy though, which I actually found quite funny. Kaka looked lively and Cafu just seems to run up and down the wing.

It wasn't a great game but I just love watching Brazil. Almost effortless.
