Thought I'd do one of these instead of everyone posting random topics about teams transfer activities this summer.

----------------

Today's big story is that Roberto Carlos is set to move to Chelsea for £20 Mill at the age of 31 that is an excessive amount of money for someone of that age and what will this mean for Wayne Bridge? and im sure Franky Lampard will not be happy at Carlos' reported 120k a week wages!

In other news, Smith seem's set to have a medical on wednedsday at OT in a deal which will see Danny Pugh go the other way. Birmingham are closing in on Muzzy Izzet and Dickov and Darren Purse is set for a move to Norwich City for 500k a snip seeing as though there were figures of £5 mill flying around a few years ago.

Anymore for anymore?

Terry's face is all the article needs.

I wouldn't mind having Carlos in my team if they made a rule like in american football where you could bring someone in for the free kicks and stuff. Other than that he's just an average defender and definitly not worth 20 million. Real Madrid have got a great deal there

Spurs have offered Edgar Davids a £2m 2-year deal, now that the Dutch international has been released. You've always got to applaud them for ambition, haven't you! :D

Then again, I read somewhere that Sam Alladyce is also watching him closely after missing out on Rivaldo (who now looks Celtic-bound)...

I'm interested to see where the Barcelona players will end-up though - especialy Patrick Kluivert. I wouldn't want him at Old Trafford now we have Smith aswell as Saha, and he's always said he wanted to play for Arsénal anyway - but, have they already got enough?

He'll probably just stay in Spain or Italy again... :P
(I'd expect Bolton to make a move for Reiziger or something though!)

As far as Carlos goes.....

I don't want him. Bridge is better and younger.....
