It would nto play any of the latest games like Far cry and it will deffinatly not play half life 2 or doom 3, it all depends on what games he plays, I personally could not live with that speed cpu, even my file server\softwall\Kazaa downloader is a P4 2.8 @ 3.2gig and that is not used for gaming at all.

Ok, I agree with that.
But try out a mates comp with say a 2400 in it, you will see the difference, and who knows you may want to splash out and buy one.

800mhz is very low but the old saying "if it aint broke, then don't fix it" comes to mind, if the bloke says that it all work to his liking then it does not matter.

On another note the apples have better performance due to ahving such a small amount of hardware configurations that Mac OS has to handle, Windows on the other hand is able to handle most hardware configurations.

Come off it, he is trying to tell me how good an 800MHz CPU is.

You can't possible agree and he can't possibly win.

He says it's stable, well of course it is, it doesn't handle that many processes.

It's crap get over it.

I like how you lot are a load of losers, who think power is everything.

But think about it, Windows, slow as anything, 3ghz, Macs, twice as fast as windows, yet it runs on 1.5ghz.
