I disagree.

How is it hard to have a mature conversation with me if I just said that Nintendo characters rarely have dialogue, and then you say something stupid like "dialogue puts people off" or something and I point out that dialogue doesn't put people off? Beyblade? Awesome? Sure, you keep thinking that too yourself. And quite a few people DID give cel shading a chance. The reason OOT sold better was because of the actual GAMEPLAY(look it up somewhere) Anywhoo, games like Baten Kaitos, Starfox games and a bunch of Sonic games have had pretty bad voice actors. But they still sold. Even Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong got dialogue in the intro of Donkey Konga. So did Wario(not in Donkey Konga obviously). So how do you know that no over Nintendo character will sometime in the future? Also, if you didn't start the stupid arguement then there would be nothing to be bored of would there? This what I said:
When has Mario been known to speak in videogames(the odd "here we go" and "it's-a-me" aside)? What about Link? Kirby? Hmmm, come to think of it, hardly any Nintendo characters can talk. The only thing that comes out of most of their mouths are screems and sometimes breathing.
Then you:
i was trying to explain the reason nintendo choose not to give their characters voices. in the example of metroid it works incredibly well because the whole prime experience was to bring the gamer into samus' isolated world. and would i really be criticising Zelda:OoT? rofl. you would have to be mad to criticise a game like that. i read something about why nintendo should get someone to voice act for link in the new zelda....but really i think that would be a big mistake. i don't think they will give him a voice, hopefully.
Then me again:
*Thinks of Mario and Donkey Kong. Then thinks of Kirby* Ummm. Not all Nintendo characters are in isolated worlds. What about Mario, Donkey Kong, Kirby and the like? They have plenty of people to talk to. So does Link.
Just giving my point that Nintendo don't often have dialogue for their main characters(Donkey Kong did though, my mistake).
Then you, who appeared looking for an arguement:
did i say they were? i said in the EXAMPLE OF METROID because i started talking about samus being my fave nintendo character in recent years. did i say all nintendo characters are in isolated worlds? the funniest thing is you were happy enough to try and point out a mistake but you didn't even correct what u thought the mistake was. so do u know why nintendo didn't give their lead roles dialog? or r u just one of those that go around trying to pick up on the fault of others? sad sad sad.
Then I metioned Rockstar and you went f**king mental and dissed GTA at every turn. Or at least, it seemed like you were. Despite the fact that they are the best selling series on the PS2.
> haha yeah gerrid i agree 100%. its exactly why nintendo shouldn't give

I disagree.
The characters are now iconic enough that they don't need voices. Indeed, having voices in games often removes you alittle from your character. Link doesn't speak, it makes you feel more connected to him because he doesn't say things that you yourself wouldn't say.

haha. its hard to have a mature conversation with a retard like urself. well beyblade is rather awesome, but did a lot of people give cell shaded link a chance? compare OoT sales with WW? if nintendo had wanted to give mario/link full script they would have done it by now. im bored of this topic now i think its time u get back to the retard hospital.
