I'm seriously considering joining the police instead of going to uni - I think I've really had enough of being educated. I just want to DO something rather than being some crappy person who just writes stuff and doesnt actually make a difference. I think making a difference in life is the most important thing you can do and by upholding the law you're making a difference!

I don't know a great deal of what sort of thing I'd be undertaking by joining the force but I am sure it is better than etching out my existance in a lowly cubicle of a generic office block.

I want to get some information packs send so if you know any websites or places I can phone or write to to ask then can you help me out.

Thanks

Hmm how long can it take to join the police E_B? I mean my mate wants to join but he says it's going to take like 3 years! I thought it could be done much faster than that. Do you know what the different ways are to join and how long they take? I think he said something about having to become a Special Officer first or something. It all seemed wierd to me.

Some people I know in the job have a weak stomach, but when confronted with it they handle it differently. It's later when they have a chance to think about it that they throw-up.

I do about 3-4 sets of 10 crunches and reverse crunches. My pack shines through :D

I remember the days when I could leap buldings in a single bound , lift elephants with one finger.
Now get chest pains lifting up my toothbrush.

Yeah, well, I'm getting fit again. Working out four nights a week after work. Need to get back into running, but at least my six pack is starting to show again (I do about 140 sit ups a night four nights a week... compare that to Peter Andre's 400 per day...)
