I'm seriously considering joining the police instead of going to uni - I think I've really had enough of being educated. I just want to DO something rather than being some crappy person who just writes stuff and doesnt actually make a difference. I think making a difference in life is the most important thing you can do and by upholding the law you're making a difference!

I don't know a great deal of what sort of thing I'd be undertaking by joining the force but I am sure it is better than etching out my existance in a lowly cubicle of a generic office block.

I want to get some information packs send so if you know any websites or places I can phone or write to to ask then can you help me out.

I went to www.westyorkshire.police.co.uk (or something like that, google it) to get info. Apparently there are no Officer vacancies available at the moment, but you can get an info pack sent out. I did - should have had it by now though!

I would like to fly a Police Helicopter. You know, for the traffic police or soemthing.

I wont apply at my local one then!
