Very weird to play this after Resi 4, I don't think you couldn't get two shooting games any more different from each other.
So far:
+ Lots of humour and little touches which made me smile
+ More Captain Ash
+ Looks and sounds alot better with alot more speech
+ The stats & character gallery are back, with some old favourites
+ Intimidatingly huge amount of Challenges etc. to do
+ Doesn't look like EA have messed around with FRD's game.
- Couple of framerate slowdowns
- Pathetically weak and short opening level (the demo level)
- I seem to be crap at Arcade league.
The opening Story Level is a let down, specially since the beginning of TSP2 threw you into the sublime Siberia level. But the next level is far better. And has Captain Ash who is hilarious :)
Oh, and in the extras section you can see the credits, which has Cortez going all Saturday Night Fever on a mirror-balled dance floor. The sign on the wall says "The Big Tipper". :D

Yeah, I give it 2 or 3 weeks before they start replacing versions which crash.
I've been getting lines down the screen etc when I play for too long.
But I've played otehr games for logner with no problems.

Unlike TSP2 where you get an extra 1/2 to the level on Normal/Hard, on FP it's just enemies cause more damage, and are tougher to kill. The Health/Armour is in the same places.

Pfffft, it's all a paradox.
The time crystals never existed, so they couldn't go back to prevent their existance.
Dunno.

I agree.. I was expecting a better ending, especially as it looks like it'll be the last in the series. Second Sight had a pants ending too.
I was expecting Corporal Hart to appear at the end. She'd be alive now as she'd never have been killed by the Splitters.
I tried Easy first, and I've finished 3or 4 ormal levels, and I can't seem to find any difference in the difficulty.
Maybe the enemies are a bit more intelligent, but I'm amazing anyway, and headshot them all as soon as I see them.
Dunno.
Is there less health/armour, more enemies, less checkpoints, longer levels, or all of the above? If it's a case of less health I won't stand a chance considering the number of times I made it to a health pack with just a minute amount of health remaining. Saying that, I didn't die once from running out of health, I only failed missions when my partner got killed, eaten, or run over (by me).
