Mine came earlier, just been playing it until it crashed my Cube (which hasn't happend in about a year, but never mind).

Very weird to play this after Resi 4, I don't think you couldn't get two shooting games any more different from each other.

So far:

+ Lots of humour and little touches which made me smile
+ More Captain Ash
+ Looks and sounds alot better with alot more speech
+ The stats & character gallery are back, with some old favourites
+ Intimidatingly huge amount of Challenges etc. to do
+ Doesn't look like EA have messed around with FRD's game.

- Couple of framerate slowdowns
- Pathetically weak and short opening level (the demo level)
- I seem to be crap at Arcade league.

The opening Story Level is a let down, specially since the beginning of TSP2 threw you into the sublime Siberia level. But the next level is far better. And has Captain Ash who is hilarious :)

Oh, and in the extras section you can see the credits, which has Cortez going all Saturday Night Fever on a mirror-balled dance floor. The sign on the wall says "The Big Tipper". :D

I was playing through co-op today and that aspect became really annoying. We had to give up on Mansion of Madness anyway because the mate that I was playing with was amazingly crap.

Ok. I retract my statement about characters.

My game hasn't had any glitches so far

*Touch wood*

Whereas nearly everyone else seems to have had some...

I'd have to say that Co-op's much the same as in TS2. Unfair on the second player, who misses out on Cortez's Uplink, means they can't move things.

Some of the bosses take ages and loads of ammo to kill on Co-op, so God knows what they'll be like on Single :(

Actually, you get characters for every level in Easy mode, tehn a character for completign the game in Easy mode, a character for every level on Normal mode, then a character for completing the game in Normal mode and a character for completing the game in hard mode.

The Co-Op wasn't that great, really. Watching the videos doesn't amke sesne, as half the time there's no characterthere, when they should be, or some thingsdon't even happen.

For example, in teh battle tank on the Machine Wars level, you don't meet Future Cortez, as R110 does the shooting from teh back, but then when you're finished, he "takes" R110 (who then goes with you anyuay) away with him (even though you keep him actually), then you go back into the past and do the shooting from the back of the tank, even though it was R110 who was doing it for you.

It's also more annoying, because if your mate runs ahead, you're teleported next to him.

And none of the Story-Mode levels compare to Siberia, which sucks, as Siberia was DA BOMB.

So, I spent an eternity completing Story mode on Co-op with my brother, ebcause I could have SWORN you got a character for it, but I see no-one.

A waste of time.
Especially seeing as my brother is crap.
