Mine came earlier, just been playing it until it crashed my Cube (which hasn't happend in about a year, but never mind).

Very weird to play this after Resi 4, I don't think you couldn't get two shooting games any more different from each other.

So far:

+ Lots of humour and little touches which made me smile
+ More Captain Ash
+ Looks and sounds alot better with alot more speech
+ The stats & character gallery are back, with some old favourites
+ Intimidatingly huge amount of Challenges etc. to do
+ Doesn't look like EA have messed around with FRD's game.

- Couple of framerate slowdowns
- Pathetically weak and short opening level (the demo level)
- I seem to be crap at Arcade league.

The opening Story Level is a let down, specially since the beginning of TSP2 threw you into the sublime Siberia level. But the next level is far better. And has Captain Ash who is hilarious :)

Oh, and in the extras section you can see the credits, which has Cortez going all Saturday Night Fever on a mirror-balled dance floor. The sign on the wall says "The Big Tipper". :D

This game is quite good, but after Resi's supremely polished and almost perfect story, TS3 seems quite lame and rushed in comparison. Still, I love all the long silences and the jokes. Haven't played challenge/arcade/multiplayer yet - that's for tonight. Are there vehicles in it?

Got about three platinums, including the virus one in the bunker. Happy memories of completing all three virus levels with platinum on TS2 got me through it. That rocket one is just plain fun though.

Completed story mode on easy, and working through on normal. Just started Breaking and Entering. Have completed first and last level on all difficulties (Crow's a pushover) and penultimate level on normal.

Woo! Mr. Socky!!!

Oh, I discovered that you don't actually have to complete teh entire game on Normal/Hard to unlock the Characters (Corporal Hart and Karma Crow), you just do the last level on those modes.
Simple.

You need to complete all the levels on Normal mode to unlcok characters though.
I've got Machine Wars and Something To Crow About left.
Damn those levels are epic.

Whoo, my first platinum.

Went mental in the first arcade level (the rocket battle), and got 21 kills and no deaths. Go me.

I saw the TV ad for this today.
Probably the worst piece of crap I've ever seen.

Im pleased tonight :D

After about the 3rd attempt at doing the Honorary League Gladiator (on the Zeppelin) I managed to bronze it. For anyone still stuck, you've got to stick with the pistols and try and stay in a position with some cover but lots of manouverability.

I also managed the Koozer Mox Zones level, at the Spaceport. I captured the zone below the shuttle and then walked through the door by the shuttle (on the botton) from there you can walk to where the Mox's respawn and kill 'em :)

Couple of negative points though. 1 - on the Story Classics (Challenge), how the hell are you supposed to complete the first one (with Corp. Hat) ?
And, on the Elite League, how are you supposed to do the Thief against a team of Brains the monkey? Thirdly, how do you do the, Elite League, Capture the Bag against a team of robots (you have John Smith and someone else)? They're all really frustrating... :@

With a game time of roughly 18 hours (man that sounds obsessive) I've completed all of the Challenges, except Story Classic, done about half the Story missions in Normal and got about 5 awards on Elite League.

Not worth it when you play with my brother.
I hope you don't ahve to do stuff for characters on Normal and Hard (It was impossible twith him on Easy mode, he jumped out of the jeep in the Machine Wars level, where it takes ages by Jeep.

Damn him.
