Mine came earlier, just been playing it until it crashed my Cube (which hasn't happend in about a year, but never mind).

Very weird to play this after Resi 4, I don't think you couldn't get two shooting games any more different from each other.

So far:

+ Lots of humour and little touches which made me smile
+ More Captain Ash
+ Looks and sounds alot better with alot more speech
+ The stats & character gallery are back, with some old favourites
+ Intimidatingly huge amount of Challenges etc. to do
+ Doesn't look like EA have messed around with FRD's game.

- Couple of framerate slowdowns
- Pathetically weak and short opening level (the demo level)
- I seem to be crap at Arcade league.

The opening Story Level is a let down, specially since the beginning of TSP2 threw you into the sublime Siberia level. But the next level is far better. And has Captain Ash who is hilarious :)

Oh, and in the extras section you can see the credits, which has Cortez going all Saturday Night Fever on a mirror-balled dance floor. The sign on the wall says "The Big Tipper". :D

I have 4700 kills to 800 deaths!

Have done 19/21 Challenges and 24/27 Leagues

Does anyone know how to do the Elite League Thief match against the hordes of 'Brains' ? I managed to get 20, but 25 needed :0 '( (the Zombie monkey)

Do you just sit in a small darkened room with just 2 lights, your orange gamecube light and your t.v flashing?

Cool.

Who's you're favourite character to say you've nearly unlocked them all?

Do you know who the characters are that you need to unlock? Have you unlocked any interesting characters/ odd characters that I probably haven't got yet?

2 characters left to unlock.

1 for golds in Challenges
1 for golds in Elite League

And I've got that Elimination with teh Disruption gun and the evil dead monkeys thief mission to gold on on in those.

:-(

Played the multiplayer last night - Assault is really good fun - everything else is pretty much identical to TS2, which is a shame. Still, a lot of fun.

Yes, Jim Smith I believe.

Probably, considering you get a character for it.

Co-op questions:

Isn't there a character you unlock only by playing through all Story missions in Co-Op?

Does Co-op completage count to your 100% rating? I'm hoping not as tis naff, if I've got a mate round Arcade is the only thing I play. It didn't count in TS2..

Doesn't appear the profile stats are as detailed as TS2. I can't find where it shows my offline multiplayer kills and accuracy in my profile.

Anyone know if you can find this stuff in TS3?

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.

Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do. I am delighted.
