Mine came earlier, just been playing it until it crashed my Cube (which hasn't happend in about a year, but never mind).

Very weird to play this after Resi 4, I don't think you couldn't get two shooting games any more different from each other.

So far:

+ Lots of humour and little touches which made me smile
+ More Captain Ash
+ Looks and sounds alot better with alot more speech
+ The stats & character gallery are back, with some old favourites
+ Intimidatingly huge amount of Challenges etc. to do
+ Doesn't look like EA have messed around with FRD's game.

- Couple of framerate slowdowns
- Pathetically weak and short opening level (the demo level)
- I seem to be crap at Arcade league.

The opening Story Level is a let down, specially since the beginning of TSP2 threw you into the sublime Siberia level. But the next level is far better. And has Captain Ash who is hilarious :)

Oh, and in the extras section you can see the credits, which has Cortez going all Saturday Night Fever on a mirror-balled dance floor. The sign on the wall says "The Big Tipper". :D

That's why it's good to use the pistol, it (mostly) kills the gits with one shot to the head, but it's quick enough to compensate for the fact that their heads can fall off, so another shot to the body works fine.

I headshot them to find some of the blasted zombie monkeys still run around decapitated.

If that fails my method (I have a Silver currently) is using the rocket launcher's multiple shots to wipe out a huge group so that no monkeys are left to snatch the coins, then picking up six or seven at once.

It's easy, the handgun is all you need. Headshots are the way to go, and it's simply a case of shooting the gits before they reach the coins.

I understand what you're saying but when you attack groups it's harder, the monkeys behind in the group instantly steal the coin

It doesn't help that I'm usually stuck with the Sci-Fi handgun as I don't know the weapon locations on Mars Prison

Ok, I just did the undead monkey level again, and managed a (Edit: platinum, not platininum :D) in 2mins 4.4secs. Says here my favourite gun was the Scifi Handgun, so I'd stick with that. :)

I'm not lying, seriously. You wouldn't know, but I've played TS2 to death, and then some. As I said before, it's all tactics. Munn will know what I'm talking about.

Hmm... I managed 25 points in 3mins 21.8secs looking here, that was my first try too. The only thing required here is not to isolate yourself with just single monkey's, go for them in groups. Also, it's far easier to go for a kill, coin, kill, coin routine than a kill, kill, kill, coin, coin, monkey stole the other-coin routine- if you catch my drift.
