god himself greeted me at the pearly gates and has returned me to this world with a message:
he says he's had a good long think and he's changed his point of view on a lot of things. basically, being gay is ok, gambling is fun and beer is clever. he'll be sending J to the C (he's been modernised too) down in a couple of weeks to fill us all in.
Bummer eh Forest Fan? looks like you've been spouting out-of-date "wisdom".. DOH!
he also said that the bible was written during one of those "write 1 line and pass the paper to the next person" games, that's why it tails off towards the end, everyone wanted to play twister instead.
oh, and incase you were wondering, the bright light and then darkness was completely true.
turns out the bulb went.

You.
You're what's stopping me. You make God sound like a Nazi, with Jesus as his stormtrooper in chief. Someone says they love me but they'll torture me if I don't do what they say? That's not love. That's a desire for control. Love doesn't ask ANYTHING in return, 'kay? Love doesn't make demands, love in unconditional. What you're trying so desperately to convince us (or maybe yourself) of is that it's okay to be terrified of someone or something if that someone tells you that they love you. Well, sorry but no. Christianity would be MUCH more accessible if some of you christians took some of your own lessons on brotherhood, compassion, and tolerance on board. Until you do that, you're a one-note joke who isn't nearly as important as he'd like to be.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!! "My fear for him is actually Love"?!?!
That line could have come straight from 1984. Pathetic, and it does nothing but confirm my assertion that your 'love' is simply the craven hope that He won't hit you again. I used to work a lot with battered women when I was a solicitor, and a lot of them had the same attitude. Tell me, how is this;
"He only hurts me cos he loves me."
Any different from your assertion that God will punish anyone who doesn't do what He says?
Emotionally and mentally, y'know what your devotion has given you? The mindset of a battered wife who doesn't even realise being battered is wrong.
> That's nice for you.
Heheheh. You know, it's quite funny watching you these days. You keep saying "I want to preach to unbelievers", then you get all sniffy when those same unbelievers poke fun at you.
It's almost as if you're only preaching to win brownie points with a mythical God who you fear FAR more than you love...
> Better?
yeha, but Kilgore Trout still has the original evidence quoted so everyone can enjoy it.

Bwhahahaha. It's a word I often think of in relation to ff.
