There's some monument/statue thing being erected of a boar of sorts - I don't know why/the story behind it, but it just is.
Anyway, Muslims are claiming that they will vandalise the statue if it is built, and are protesting against its construction.
Why?
Because they don't eat pig meat, and are offended by it.
What the hell?
Now, like Foreman I don't want to sound racist, but come on.
That's just utterly stupid - it is after all our nation, and, though I respect Britain is becoming/is multinational, it works both ways.
If the statue is to be built for whatever reason, let it be built. I'm sure there are plenty of things that immigrants and other Muslims do that offend Britons.
Ah well, I dunno.
Your views?
Did you watch that thing on BBC1 last night at 7:30 about all the people who live here but our then ready to attack us.
And traitorship to who, gump?

I know some that did. I also know Welsh, Scots and Irish who all cheered on Brazil. English football commentators have a surprisingly good knack of being able to engender loathing of England when it comes to sport.

Fair enough. I'll chalk it up to a 14 year old not expressing himself as well as he'd like to using the written word.

Me and a couple of other English blokes (who actually support England) had the same trouble. Trust me, I am lot more gracious about the subject, than they were.

More important question:
Why not?

It was the "those asians celebrating Brazil winning" that did it for me. Who cares, y'know? Obviously, I shouldn't expect anything more than sweeping generalisations and intolerance from Gump, but it still grinds a little...
