By default the norm is to be straight. Everyone should follow what is natural and right - to be straight. However homo-sexuals choose not to follow the norm and hence have made the decision to choose not to follow the norm.

I think it's combination of the two, i remember something about a gay gene, i have also heard gay boys are more common when they are brought up in predominantly female households maybe because women arent as opressive or repressed and it filters to the child.

Go on then, explain this to me, because there must be something I'm missing. Why is it sinful and how do you know people "choose" to be gay?

Racism picks on someone because of what they are born with - which is clearly unfair. Anyway, I don't 'hate' or 'discriminate' against homo-sexuals - all I am saying it is a sin like any other.

The whole debate is similar to nature/nurture and the answer will quite possibly turn out to be the same; it's a little of both.
