Pretty sweet RPG so far, only a couple of hours in. Haven't quite seen why so many people have been fapping like porn monkeys over it yet but have been told by plenty you are no-where near scratching the surface of it yet (which I can believe by the sheer size of it so far).
Chose to be a Dwarf in the end, a Warrior Dwraf with possibly the ugliest face ever. Kicks ass in battle, spent ages at the opening of Dragonmaw fighting the wolves and troggs to level up a bit. One thing that is decent is that everyone who I have come across so far has been pretty helpful and not even slightly c*ck faced.
Interface is sweet, the layout was easy enough to get to grips with after the initial "this is just one area, wtf?!". The environments make Lisa Riley's mu*f saddle looking like a toddler's paddling pool.
Controls are easy, the magic areas aren't even slightly geeky from what I have come across so far, just drag it onto the bar and click it when you need it. Haven't really bought much yet but that too seems simple enough to use and from what I gather it nails other MMORPG's for its less geeky approach. For a first time MMORPG'er' I have founs it fack easy to get into and nothing like what I expected (only in a good way though).
Visually it is sweet, the soundtrack is awesome, the presentation is spot on etc etc *fap fap*
Wish I didn't have work tomorrow but life's a b*tch!
Somewhere along the line I made a bit of cash and got about 10k xp and did some quests.
WoW is terrifying.
[edit] And drinking heavily, but that's by the by.
I'm starting to think my internet is having problems.
A constant latency of 3000-5000 is absued.
I left that Mill place in Southshore and minutes later I died... from being attacked back there.
Well, it is WoW.....
I just hope it sorts itself out. The trouble is, WoW is (or was) a superbly natured game, even on the PvP servers, and I reckon most people who play it are playing it rather than CS: Source because they don't want to go n00b suxxors etc. BUT, this honour system might give them a chance to, say, 'slip' into annoying reject mode and just kill because killing gives reward.
It needs a careful eye kepy on it, and Blizzard are good enough to do so. I for one am not about to abandon hope like half the idiotic rejects do. Jesus, this is Blizzard.
Plus, it was kinda fun....
However, I like questing sometimes and don't want to get slaughtered all the time. 4 level ?? just chased... and my latency is at 3000

I have to say, while it has it's problems, it's the most fun I've had with PvP since starting WoW. Huge ass battles everywhere, and the funny thing is, we all go for ?? players first because everyone knows they pose the most threat.
Still, anyone planning on doing a quest or two in Hillsbrad today are going to find it extremely difficult.
Then, once we went to collect ears for a quest, saw a lv38 hunter skinning his kill.
Previously, /wave and a bit of friendly dancing before going off to do my thing. Today? "HORDE! KILL!" and I charged after him.
But I'll go back to my nice normal play later on, people are just jazzed to get points for PvP kills at the moment I think.
