Pretty sweet RPG so far, only a couple of hours in. Haven't quite seen why so many people have been fapping like porn monkeys over it yet but have been told by plenty you are no-where near scratching the surface of it yet (which I can believe by the sheer size of it so far).
Chose to be a Dwarf in the end, a Warrior Dwraf with possibly the ugliest face ever. Kicks ass in battle, spent ages at the opening of Dragonmaw fighting the wolves and troggs to level up a bit. One thing that is decent is that everyone who I have come across so far has been pretty helpful and not even slightly c*ck faced.
Interface is sweet, the layout was easy enough to get to grips with after the initial "this is just one area, wtf?!". The environments make Lisa Riley's mu*f saddle looking like a toddler's paddling pool.
Controls are easy, the magic areas aren't even slightly geeky from what I have come across so far, just drag it onto the bar and click it when you need it. Haven't really bought much yet but that too seems simple enough to use and from what I gather it nails other MMORPG's for its less geeky approach. For a first time MMORPG'er' I have founs it fack easy to get into and nothing like what I expected (only in a good way though).
Visually it is sweet, the soundtrack is awesome, the presentation is spot on etc etc *fap fap*
Wish I didn't have work tomorrow but life's a b*tch!
That's crazy, would be worth just sticking with the talent point. I actually thought the unlearn function from the trainer unlearnt your class leaving you stood there with your blue Marks and Sparks boxies aimlessly wandering around, perhaps trying to mount a squirrel, I am clearly wrong :(
I think.
I might have another look.
They have stave/mace/dagger skills, only mace at the start. I use a staff, get 80-120 damage each hit, although every hit is about 3 seconds apart.
Do they have any melee skills worth shouting about or is it just the staff and fa*ny f*sting abilities on offer?
Why the hell is f*sting in the swear filter?
My priest is currently a shadow version, ws**th 3 points in Holy (before I really realised what talents were...), about 7 in Discipline and 18 in Shadow. Priests are good really. They can be hugely frustrating due to the simple fact you really cannot take much damage. To counter for this, they have an excellent shield and stamina buff, as well as the best healing spells in the game, which is much nicer than a bandage or other class's heals. Cloth armor is weak.....but at the same time, Priests are the most wanted by a group, because of the healing powers.
It says a lot that I started a Priest just on the off chance - I was going to be a druid, but I got so into s**t I stayed ws**th s**t. Shadow Priest is the way to go if you are going to solo/quest/pvp. If you go Holy, you can heal everyone and yourself, but you'll be shot to s*s**t in a straight fight. As s**t is, I've noticed that I can actually maul most people in pvp IF I'm careful. That's the main thing about Priests. As long as you watch your health and keep yourself safe-ish, you'll be fine. I have to say the most annoying factor is the aggro you get for healing others. There are talent points to be spent on reducing aggro on healing + damage/shadow (I've taken the latter), but s**t's the main disadvantage of the Shadow priest.....but at the same time, you cand defend yourself that much better.
Meh, s**t'sa fun class, annoying at times, but ws**th some great features, and in 1 on 1 in PvP, nearly unstoppable IF you are careful. And have a lot of mana......but still.
I sus[ect that answers the question we had about sending money to the same character, it obciously removes everythbing related to that character. Will test it with something tonight though.

You stay on the friends list, but appear offline as your old class. I need to re-add you when you get a new char.

Crossed my mind yesterday and unless there is anything else stored against your current character it might be worth a shot. Best way to test it would be to send a blank mail to the same character, deleted and start again and see if it comes through under a character with the same name. Trouble is if you delete a character then that character is removed from a Guild which suggests it removes more than just the character name.
On the Friends list does it show the same character name as logged on once I start again or do you have to add me again to see my online status?
