Yes another WoW post, I will save you the need to urge your peni towards the keyboard in a desperate attempt to point this out...

Pretty sweet RPG so far, only a couple of hours in. Haven't quite seen why so many people have been fapping like porn monkeys over it yet but have been told by plenty you are no-where near scratching the surface of it yet (which I can believe by the sheer size of it so far).

Chose to be a Dwarf in the end, a Warrior Dwraf with possibly the ugliest face ever. Kicks ass in battle, spent ages at the opening of Dragonmaw fighting the wolves and troggs to level up a bit. One thing that is decent is that everyone who I have come across so far has been pretty helpful and not even slightly c*ck faced.

Interface is sweet, the layout was easy enough to get to grips with after the initial "this is just one area, wtf?!". The environments make Lisa Riley's mu*f saddle looking like a toddler's paddling pool.

Controls are easy, the magic areas aren't even slightly geeky from what I have come across so far, just drag it onto the bar and click it when you need it. Haven't really bought much yet but that too seems simple enough to use and from what I gather it nails other MMORPG's for its less geeky approach. For a first time MMORPG'er' I have founs it fack easy to get into and nothing like what I expected (only in a good way though).

Visually it is sweet, the soundtrack is awesome, the presentation is spot on etc etc *fap fap*

Wish I didn't have work tomorrow but life's a b*tch!

Yeah. I will post a link here when I get home with a list of all the pet abilities and where to find the pets that carry them.

Stable your current pet, tame the ones with the skills you want, eventually after it has levelled with loyalty you will gain that skill in your pet training things ma bob. You can then switch back to your other pet and teach it that skill with talent points. Some pets can't learn certain abilities though.

My Tigress has Claw/Growl and Cower as it stands, not sure what else it can take. You can't them upgrade these talents through a pet trainer, only growl can be learnt through them, to get the higher level abilities you have to tame the beasts with those abilities and follow the above through.

Worth it though in the long run, especially as the pets usese all of them when required automatically, saves you having to click through which ones you want it to use.

Thinking of switching to the dark side eh? I'll be sure to gank and corpse camp you :-D

Got some nice revenge on a level ?? mage that decided to get me when i was fighting mobs in astranaar. Saw him again later and he charged after me again, only for my raid group to pop up over the hill and promptly deal death to the little get. Then on our way back to Maestra's Post we saw him again and again killed him. Oh i do love when that happens.

What?! Bloody hell. I wondered why my lioness didn't have "bite" while the wolf did. Jesus.

Not sure, head to Darnassuss - Pet and Hunter trainers there.

Talent points from those trainers can only be spent on growl though, you need to take other pets on board, learn skills from them and then train the pet you want to keep long term with the new skills you have learnt from other pets. If that makes sense...

I've found them excellent to level through the early ranks quickly. Where is a pet trainer in Ogrimmar? I've got a lioness, and she's levelling, but I don't know what to do with the talent points. Pet trainers aren't listed by the "help! I need direction" guys.

Nope.

For solo questing Hunters are the mutties nutties, especially if you use the Talent Points on increasing your beasts power etc. They are useful in PVP/Raids as well with the long range combat.

By the way, is it possible to send money over to Horde players? Just thought if I decide to switch over to Horde after finishing with this character.

Rogues. They're excellent to play as but annoying to play against.

But isn't this the point of a rogue? A sneaky, cowardly thief class? Don't get me wrong, I hate 'em, but that's the point. :D

Got to level 39 last night, had a lot of grinding though as I am more interested in the loot at the moment. Got around 15G in loot yesterday taking me to just under 55G after buying more arrows and what not.

Scrapped Alchemy/Herbalism and went for Skinning/Leatherworking which is far more profitable at the moment and is a lot less expensive and is less hassle.

Still 35G off getting a Mount but hopefully with another couple of long grinding sessions I should be there by Friday.

Another lame old Rogue rape down at BB yesterday. At the end of the night I went to BB to sell my loot, whilst creating some bandages to sell a level 42 UD Rogue just appeared and sapped me whilst I was ceating the bandages and completely unaware, needless to say it didn't take him long to get rid of me. PVP is all well and good but this is just sly/lame and just confirms what an incredibly cheap class the Rogue is.
