Pretty sweet RPG so far, only a couple of hours in. Haven't quite seen why so many people have been fapping like porn monkeys over it yet but have been told by plenty you are no-where near scratching the surface of it yet (which I can believe by the sheer size of it so far).
Chose to be a Dwarf in the end, a Warrior Dwraf with possibly the ugliest face ever. Kicks ass in battle, spent ages at the opening of Dragonmaw fighting the wolves and troggs to level up a bit. One thing that is decent is that everyone who I have come across so far has been pretty helpful and not even slightly c*ck faced.
Interface is sweet, the layout was easy enough to get to grips with after the initial "this is just one area, wtf?!". The environments make Lisa Riley's mu*f saddle looking like a toddler's paddling pool.
Controls are easy, the magic areas aren't even slightly geeky from what I have come across so far, just drag it onto the bar and click it when you need it. Haven't really bought much yet but that too seems simple enough to use and from what I gather it nails other MMORPG's for its less geeky approach. For a first time MMORPG'er' I have founs it fack easy to get into and nothing like what I expected (only in a good way though).
Visually it is sweet, the soundtrack is awesome, the presentation is spot on etc etc *fap fap*
Wish I didn't have work tomorrow but life's a b*tch!
:(
Also...i have a lvl 17 Hunter on a PvE. Am i right in thinking i can sell all his gear, and send the money over to my Lvl 30 character im using now? How do i do this? Could do with the cash.
Doubt it would work, but would save the arseache of creating a dummy character to handle the funds in between main characters.
If you want to keep the same character name it is a bit of a bummer though as you have to transfer the money to another character, wait an hour for it all to come through and then transfer back onto your new character under the same name which also takes an hour or so to come through.
I must have had about 10G across my other characters before I deleted them :(
Make sense what you are saying but I probably won't go back to the Druid class again.
Not sure on Druid? Make another Hunter, but keep your Druid Active incase you want to go back to him. Same applies for all classes.
Saves having to start from scratch every time!
I'm currently happyu with my Druid and Priest, although I may just create a Dwarf Hunter too, as I said I would a while ago.
Range combat they are excellent, can take between 50-75% off similar levels health before they even get to me. The trouble comes when they resist and manage to get close to you without you causing too much damage, if you are screwed for Mana then you are pretty much facked. Near level 15 so I don't want to go too much further if I decide to switch classes.
Trouble is I have been through pretty much every class (apart from Priest) and each one has similar advantages/disadvantages. Out of the ones I have tried so far the Hunter has probably had the most potential once the initial 15 or so levels are passed and you have som decent skills. Really tempted to go back to Hunter and give it a shot, I = retard.
I am going to leave it to Cycloon to persuade me to become a member of the Church.
Sheesh
